[dropcap color=”#000000″ type=””]P[/dropcap]erformed by Teatro Egyptian Independent Theatre, the 60-minute play is based on the 1944 existential play by Jean-Paul Sartre.

No Exit observes three characters doomed to an eternity in hell, where their punishment is simply each other’s company. Alternating between the three languages, English, Arabic and French, the dialogue is focused on unravelling the sins of their fellow inmates.

Directed by Omar El Moutaz Bel’lah, Teatro Egyptian Independent Theatre

Omar is an Egyptian artist and director.  In 2003, he founded the Teatro Egyptian Independent Theater.  Known for his work with physical, visual and vocal forms of art, his subjects tend to focus on abstract concepts such as death, social and political happenings, as well as drawing inspiration from his dreams.

Receiving several local and international awards, his work also includes photography, sculpture and painting.

The play is in Arabic, English & French with English subtitles.
